Our position

We respect copyright. Most of what we publish is written by us, but features about partner businesses include photographs and quotes those partners supply, and some articles use licensed stock photography. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, tell us and we will look at it promptly.

How to report infringement

Send a notice to copyright@digitalnomadsmagazine.com including all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
• The URL of the material on our site, specific enough for us to find it.
• Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.

Incomplete notices slow things down. Please include everything above.

What we do next

We aim to acknowledge notices within two business days and to remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice expeditiously. We will tell whoever supplied the material that it has been removed, and pass on your notice.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, your name, address and telephone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you are outside the United States, any district in which we may be found).

Repeat infringers

We keep a record of takedown notices. Any contributor, partner or advertiser who is the subject of repeated valid notices will have their material removed and their relationship with us ended. We reserve the right to remove material and terminate a relationship at any point where we judge infringement to be occurring.
